The U.S found this as an advantage to build it's industry at a very cheaper rate for labor, tax, land, and also government policy. It attracted so many investors to China because corruption was not high in it's government, and the citizens were sincere to foreigners and ready to work.
The Chinese were also a smart set of people that grabbed the innovation in technology and began to produce more innovative feature in the technologies that was brought to it's country. Though it's culture is still rich, but Technology has become richer that it's culture.
