The similarity of subsidies and tariffs is that both aim to disadvantage imports. Moreover, there are also other similarities.

EXPLANATION:

The other similarities are:

• They are both used by the State to try and influence/control trade.

• They can both be weapons in a trade war.

• They are the two ways a government can make one product more attractive over another by affecting the price.

Based on economic historian Dr. Burton W. Folsom, Jr., whenever the federal government attempted to choose a winner in the private sector, the government weakened miserably. Other historians simply explained what the government released without evaluating the results with opponents who had no government finance or other government support. Others considered that government support generated good results while Dr. Folsom points out that government contribution often created worse results than the private sector.

Tariffs distort the economy; and create free markets less free, less efficient and worse. Tariffs are perhaps the best example of economic principles—diffuse interest against focused interest. Likewise, diffuse interest against focused interest generates a large number of "sub rosa" transactions (below the table) that benefit politicians and focused interested parties. They are between the many systems politicians and their minions get rich; they enrich focused interest with certain prices.

Andrej [43]

Answer:

-heard and seen

-seen but not heard

Explanation:

Remember, the best example of a live medium is the television. Therefore, the ability to be heard and seen best describes the live medium because it allows us to see images in a moment of time as they appear.

Sometimes also, a live medium may be seen but not heard, which is common in visuals dedicated to the deaf and speechless individuals.
