dialogue

feedback

Explanation:

Audience interaction is when the speaker gives the audience the chance to tell him something back, asking questions or having a dialogue, feedbak is also part of audience interaction because it gives the speaker a sense of what is happening and how he is doing. From the options the only one that doesn´t have anything to do with audience interaction is Body posture since that one depends solely on the speaker.

How effective were unions in shaping political and economic policies?
Darina [25.2K]

Unions were very effective in shaping political and economic policies. Even though their initial efforts did not have success in the late 19th century, their 20th century efforts changed America forever.

For example, the labor unions were able to get the government to pass laws regarding the 8 hour work day, the outlawing of child labor for kids under the age of 16, and the implementation of health and safety regulations to ensure that factory workers were in suitable conditions. Along with this, there are now federal agencies that to this day, continue to monitor businesses and their activities to ensure that they are not breaking any labor laws or health and safety regulations.

From what part of the country overwhelmingly was andrew jackson’s base?
STatiana [176]

Answer:

A

Explanation:

This is actually a hard question to answer. It also depends on which election you are talking about. John Quincy Adams won the first round (1824) and Jackson came back and won the second round (1828) resoundingly. So I take it we are talking about the second round.

Adams took the north east.

Jackson won almost everywhere else in 1828, but his most solid report came from the frontier and the south.

C is definitely wrong. Adams won the northeast.

B is also incorrect. The north east states belonged to Adams.

The 1824 election is a really interesting election. I did not know this, but apparently in that election it was really the house of representatives that decided who the president was going to be.

Adams was the only president not to win either the popular vote or the electoral college vote and still become president. I urge you, particularly if you are an American, to look up to see how that happened. It certainly was not repeated in 1828 or any time since for that matter.

Which of the following was a draw for indentured servants coming to the Americans?
Finger [1]

Answer:

Mostly money and promise of the American dream.

Many poor Europeans and other immigrants heard about the Americans and their lavish lives and wanted to try their luck and escape their poverty. However, they didn't have enough money to emigrate to America which is why they would become indentured servants.

This meant that they would sign a contract with their employer who would then pay for their travel expenses to America, and in turn they would have to work for them for a number of years in return for food and shelter. When the contract expired, ideally the indentured servant became free (although this didn't always happen). Their status was slightly better than that of a slave.

(Since you didn't give us any options, I can't tell you the exact answer).
