We know, speed = distance / time
Here, speed = 7 m/min
distance = 11.2 m

Substitute their values,
7 = 11.2 / t
t = 11.2 / 7
t =1.6 min

In short, Your Answer would be 1.6 minutes

Hope this helps!

Explain why the graphing calculator cannot be used to solve or approximate solutions to all polynomial equations.
Lelu [443]
Let's put it this way: If you plot a few non-x-intercept points and then draw a curvy line through them,you will not know if you got the x-intercepts even close to being correct. The only way you can be sure of your x-intercepts is to set the quadratic equal to zero and solve. So its a matter of guessing from the pictures. Basicaly said, the calculator won't give you the exact result.

Svetllana [295]

a) 20.9

    The mean is calculated by adding up the scores and dividing the total by the number of scores, it is also called the average.

    First, we can count and see there are 11 players (makes sense for a football team). Adding up the ages gives us 19 + 19 + 20 + 20 + 20 + 21 + 22 + 22 + 22 + 22 + 23 = 230. Divide by 11 and we get a mean of of about 20.9!

b) 30

To figure this out, we will set up an equation that looks like this:

\frac{19 + 19 + 20 + 20 + 20 + 21 + 22 + 22 + 22 + 22 + 23+x}{12} =22

And now we will solve:

[multiply both sides by 12] 230 + x = 264

[subtract 130 from both sides] x = 30

So the age of the new player should be 30!

Have a nice day!

    I hope this is what you are looking for, but if not - comment! I will edit and update my answer accordingly. (ノ^∇^)
