Women’s thoughts are not considered to be as important as men’s. It is normal for men to make generalizations about all women. Women are the ones who notice important details. Women take care of details that are less important than those that concern men.

The answer is:

-Women's thoughts are not considered to be as important as men's.

-It is normal for men to make generalizations about all women.

-Women take care of details that are less important than those that concern men.

The setting of the truffles took place in the year of 1900. (this happen before women even granted the right to vote in the election)

At that time, women basically treated like second class citizens, similar to a property that belong to the men of the household. They were never taken seriously in professional field, only focus on their appearance, and would constantly judged with a certain level of prejudice that prevent them to advance in society.

Based from reading this short passage, I believe that the authors point in this above was to practically give information above the word "solar flares". And by the author doing this, he would be giving the reader citing points of this.

Your answer: It cites expert testimony about solar flares.

I would say that this would most likely be the answer mainly because when citing, this would mean that there would be an expert that would study basic needs and understanding this kind of things to understand.

Sc. 3, Lines 100–113: What point does Polonius want to make through his play on the word tender? What is the tone of his comment
Marat540 [252]

This excerpt is from 'The Hamlet'.

Explanation:

Ophelia says that Hamlet has made sincere proclamations of his love for her. Polonius answers, Tender yourself more dearly. Polonius means Ophelia should be more careful and judge to whom she has to give her affection.

Shakespeare uses humor in this scene but the humor is subtle as it describes the conflict between Ophelia and her father.

The tone creates despair and disgust among the readers. The story is about her love for Hamlet and loyalty to her father.

Polonius depicts Hamlet as unreliable and to have intentions that are not noble.
