s = 71.6

____________

0.75 - 5/8s = 44

3/4 - 5/8s = 44

3/4 - 3/4 + 5/8s = 44 + 3/4

5/8s = 44 3/4

5/8s / 5/8 = 44 3/4 / 5/8

s= (179/4 / 5/8)

s= (179/4 * 8/5)

s= (179/1 * 2/5)

s= (358/5)

s= (350/5 + 8/5)

s= (70 + 8/5)

s= (70 + 1 + 3/5)

s= 71 3/5

s= 71.6

I checked this and its correct :P Sorry about the late answer, hope this helps!

The pizza stand gives patrons a free pizza when they collect 8 coupons how many free pizzas can Mrs.Fowler get if she has 78 cou
Anna35 [415]

Answer:

Mrs. Fowler will get 9 free pizza. And she needs two more coupon for the next pizza.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that pizza stand gives a free pizza for every 8 coupons.

And Mrs. Fowler has 78 coupons.

Part (a)

How many free pizzas can Mrs. Fowler get if she has 78coupons?

We will divide total number of coupons 78 by 8 coupons.

\frac{78}{8}=9\frac{6}{8}

When we divide we get quotient as 9, with a remainder of 6. So, Mrs. Fowler will get 9 free pizza.

Now, part (b)

If  Mrs. Fowler adds two more coupons that will turn remainder 6 into 6+2=8.

So, she can have next pizza.

Sloan [31]

Answer:

Kayleigh will have a total of $4608.

Step-by-step explanation:

First, you use the formula, I=PRT (Interest=Principal, Rate, Time), then you distribute the numbers: (I=4500x0.8%x3) when you multiply them all, you get $108, then you lastly add 108 to 4500, and you get your final answer of $4608.

UkoKoshka [18]

Answer: 15x² + 2x + 4

x = -2/3, 0, 1/2

Step-by-step explanation:

5x(3x + 2) - 4(2x - 1)

First, distribute:

15x² + 10x - 8x + 4

Combine like terms:

15x² + 2x + 4

This is your polynomial!

If you needed to solve for x, take your original factored polynomial and set each term equal to 0:

5x(3x + 2) - 4(2x - 1)

5x = 0

x = 0

3x + 2 = 0

3x = -2

x = -2/3

-4 = 0

No solution

2x - 1 = 0

2x = 1

x = 1/2

x = -2/3, 0, 1/2

Hope this helps!
