It was really confusing for me but I got it eventually
wx = 10
vw = 22
wy = 20
vx = 32
wz = 30
vy = 42
Here's how I solved it:
vz = 52 and xz = 20 right? Well, xz is two sections. 20 / 2 = 10, that's the value of wx,xy,yz because they're equal. wz = 30 ( 10 + 10 + 10 ). To get vw I took 52 (vz) and took away 30 (wz) and ended up with 22 (vw). For wy I simply added the two sections together to get 20. Essentially i did the same thing with vx and vy, I took vw (22) and added wx (10) to get vx (32) and then just added on xy (10) to get vy (42). :)

I know it's confusing but I did my best to explain it so you could understand it.

Determine the equation of the line, written in slope-intercept form, that passes through the points (1,1) and (5,−1).
bazaltina [42]

Answer:

y=-1/2x+3/2

Step-by-step explanation:

m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

m=(-1-1)/(5-1)

m=-2/4

m=-1/2

y-y1=m(x-x1)

y-1=-1/2(x-1)

y=-1/2x+1/2+1

y=-1/2x+1/2+2/2

y=-1/2x+3/2

Can someone help idk if this is right
navik [9.2K]

Answer:

a_n=-3 \cdot a_{n-1}

a_1=2

You gave the explicit form.

Step-by-step explanation:

You gave the explicit form.

The recursive form is giving you a term in terms of previous terms of the sequence.

So the recursive form of a geometric sequence is a_n=r \cdot a_{n-1} and they also give a term of the sequence; like first term is such and such number. All this says is to get a term in the sequence you just multiply previous term by the common ratio.

r is the common ratio and can found by choosing a term and dividing by the term that is right before it.

So here r=-3 since all of these say that it does:

-54/18

18/-6

-6/2

If these quotients didn't match, then it wouldn't be geometric.

Anyways the recursive form for this geometric sequence is

a_n=-3 \cdot a_{n-1}

a_1=2

nataly862011 [7]

Answer:

x2+11x+28

Step-by-step explanation:

Thus, (x+7)(x+4) multiplies out to x2+4x+7x+28, which can be simplified to
