To see Mercury with your naked eye is only possible when it is at its greatest "elongation" or basically when the angle of separation between the Sun or Mercury is at it's greatest value, however it is not always a promised success of viewing Mercury. It also depends on the phase of the plant to determine how bright it is!

Mercury is hard to see from Earth because it's so close to the bright sun. It is the closest planet to the sun and the smallest of all the 8 big planets. Mercury is only a little bigger than Earth's moon.

What does the metaphor of the mirror being “The eye of a little god, four-cornered” suggest?
Luba_88 [7]
D.) The woman goes to the mirror dutifully, as one who dutifully worships.

Comparing the mirror to the eye of a god shows that the woman is constantly going to the mirror as one goes to church regularly. She is trying to gain some sort of heavenly insight into herself, as someone would be trying to get religious insight by worshiping.

Why do the animals cease to sing "Beasts of England"? What is the song that replaces it, and how is it different from its predec
vredina [299]

Answer and Explanation:

"Animal Farm" is an allegorical novella by George Orwell which criticizes the Soviet regime in Russia. The animals in general represent the Russian people, while the pigs, specifically, represent the Soviet leaders.

Why do the animals cease to sing "Beasts of England"?

"Beasts of England" was a song taught to the animals by Old Major, a boar who inspired them to begin their revolution. The song became a type of anthem, motivating animals to rebel against humans, and keeping them motivated to work toward achieving an equal society. The animals have to stop singing it, however, because Napoleon, their leader, demands them to. The excuse given to the animals is that the song is no longer necessary because the revolution has already taken place. However, this is just another way Napoleon has found to keep the animals under his dominance.

What is the song that replaces it, and how is it different from its predecessor?

The song that replaces "Beasts of England" is the following:

"Animal Farm, Animal Farm,

Never through me shalt thou come to harm!"

The song is simple but uninspiring. It sounds as if it is an attempt to brainwash the animals, as if by repeating it they will convince themselves to behave well, to not question, argue, or fight. Again, this is simply a way Napoleon is using to reinforce his own authority, just like dictators in real life often have people sing songs about them and the well-being of the nation.

Inequality is rampant in the society . Write an essay to support the illustration in the Pearl by John Steinbeck
labwork [276]

Inequality is a social, systematic and growing problem. For this reason, we can say that inequality is rampant, as it manages to establish itself at an impressive speed, making it difficult to stop.

Social inequality undermines access to basic rights by decreasing people's quality of life and increasing social injustice across the country. The greater the inequality, the more people become victims of this system and end up generating other human beings who also become victims of inequality, making this problem never end, but increasing more and more.

Governments benefit from these systems of inequality, as it opens space for more cases of corruption and favoring a small group of citizens over others. In addition, inequality increases political dependency, causing people to establish a type of cult of political figures who exhibit palliative, ineffective and flawed solutions.

Therefore, we can agree that inequality is a systematic problem, supported by the interests of privileged people, which stimulates its unprecedented increase.
