The median is 12.6.

Put all numbers in order from least to greatest.
11.9 \: \: 12 \: \: 12.3 \: \: 12.4 \: \: 12.4 \: \: 12.5 \: \: 12.7 \: \: 12.8 \: \: 12.9 \: \: 13.1 \: \: 13.2 \: \: 13.8
Then cross numbers out, 1st on one end and 1st on the opposite end, so on and so forth. Do this until you get to a number in the middle that is singled out, or until you have 2 numbers singled out in the middle.

In this case you should have 2 numbers, 12.5 and 12.7. Take the average of those 2 numbers.

12.5 + 12.7 = 25.2
25.2 \div 2 = 12.6
12.6 is your median. Hope I helped!!!

Write them in order from least to greatest,
11.9, 12.0, 12.3, 12.4, 12.4, 12.5, 12.7,12.8, 12.9, 13.1, 13.2, 13.8
then eliminate one from each side until you find the middle one,
12.5, 12.7
you have two middle, so you find the middle number in between them.

12.6 is the median.

Monica [59]
You would start by figuring out the distance the turtle swims every second by dividing 24 by 16.
24➗16=1.5
From this we can take the numbers from either T: 1, ___, 24, 45 or D: ___, 10, 16, ___ to figure out the blank spaces for the other using multiplication or division. Divide T by 1.5, or multiply D by 1.5 to find the other

T: 1, 15, 24, 45
D: 1.5, 10, 16, 30

write an equation in slope-intercept form of the line that passes through the points (1,2) and (-2,-1)
Marizza181 [45]

Answer:

y=3/4x+5/4

Step-by-step explanation:

equation to use: y1-y2/x2-x1 so you get -3/-4 so your slope is 3/4 and you plug that into one of your point equations im going to use the first one so 2=3/4(1) +b so you are going to get 5/4 for b so your equation is y=3/4x + 5/4
