American: a colonial revolt that happened between 1765 and 1783. Some people wanted Independence from Britain so they split, found America and founded the 13 colonies. The people in these colonies fought against Britain and won their freedom and they then became the United States of America.
French: A social and political conflict in French colonies that went from 1789 to 1799. Napoleon Bonaparte partially carried the revolution forward.
Difference: French fought for Abstraction and Americans fought for tangible goals. French wanted to overturn an established order while Americans wanted to preserve their traditional rights.

Similarities: both wanted change. both have economic instability from war debt, both didn't have equal social rights, both started for enlightened ideas

Answer: Yes, the ones who responded are significantly different from the ones who did not respond and it could have skewed the results of the survey as well.

Explanation:

In some cases, they are too busy, unwilling, or just don't like completing surveys. Indeed, Nonresponse bias usually occurs when the ones who responded are different in many ways from nonrespondents. With a response rate around 10%, the results are not trustworthy, skewing too much the information obtained in the collected surveys.
