A pair of parallel lines is cut by a transversal, as shown below: A pair of parallel lines is cut by a transversal. The interior

angle made on the left by the intersection of the upper parallel line and the transversal is divided into 2 parts by a slanting line. One part of this angle is labeled as x, and the other part is labeled as 20 degrees. The interior angle made on the right by the intersection of the lower parallel line and the transversal is labeled as 80 degrees. What is the measure of angle x? 60 degrees 70 degrees 80 degrees 100 degrees

See the picture attached to better understand the problem

we know that
(x+20)+∠1=180°-------> by supplementary angles
∠1=160°-x

∠1+∠2=180°--------> by supplementary angles
∠2=180-(160-x)-----> ∠2=20+x

∠2=80°------> by corresponding angles
so
20+x=80
x=80-20-------> x=60°

the answer is
60°

Answer:
Part A: 2 f2
Part B: draw a diagonal (AC, for example); 1 f12
Step-by-step explanation:
Part A:
The area of a parallelogram is given by the
formula
A=bh
where "b' is the length of the base, and 'h' is the
perpendicular distance between the bases.
Using the numbers shown on the diagram, the
area is
A = (3 ft)(2/3 ft) = 3-2/3 f12
A =2 ft2..... area of the parallelogram
Part B:
Typically, a polygon is partitioned into triangles
by drawing diagonals from one of the vertices. It
does not matter which one. (In a quadrilateral,
only one diagonal can be drawn from any given
vertex.) Here, the "base" of each triangle is the
same as the base of the parallelogram: 3 feet.
The "height" of each triangle is the same as the
height of the parallelogram: 2/3 ft.
The area of a triangle is given by the formula

Which expression is equivalent to 2^5?
N76 [4]

Answer: 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2

Step-by-step explanation:

This is an exponent so you have the base number which is two and the 5 is how much times to multiply the base number.

Hope that helps!
