The movement is called Zionism, and its motive was to create a new Jewish national state in Palestine. In the Judaism religion, Palestine is considered to be their original homeland. Obviously, the supporters of this idea created this movement in an attempt to make this happen.

The modern numbering system and the zero were both mathematical innvations made within which empire
daser333 [38]

Answer:

Why the veterans of the Texas Revolution received additional land? Help, I have a test about it tomorrow :/
Tomtit [17]

Both the republic and state granted lands for military service in the form of bounty and donation grants.

"By an act of 1879 certificates for an additional 640 acres were granted under stringent restrictions to indigent veterans of the Texas Revolution. Bounty and donation grants for military service amounted to a total of 3,149,234 acres."

Basically, as a reward or an incentive for their service in multiple battles.
