History

After the Civil War, the US Constitution became a means to ensure that African-Americans had rights in American society. This was due to the passage of the following three amendments:

1) 13th amendment- This outlawed slavery or forced labor all over the US.

2) 14th amendment- This amendment states that any person born on US soil or naturalized has all of the rights/freedoms guaranteed in the US Constitution.

3) 15th amendment- This amendment states that a person cannot be stopped from voting based on race, color, or past servitude. Essentially, this makes it so that a government can't stop a person from voting based on the fact that they were a slave before this time period.

Will mark brainliest! What is the guerrilla warfare? How did it help the colonist
valentinak56 [21]

Guerrilla Warfare is a type of irregular warfare wherein small groups of soldiers use irregular means of attack to take on a larger enemy.

The Colonists, lacking true Professional soldiers, used guerrilla warfare to take on the professional British Army who was only trained in fighting using traditional means (one army marching against another army).

This meant that the Colonists could inflict great casualties without having to face the great British Army face-to-face.

How did the environment affect the lifestyles of early American people
tiny-mole [99]

The environment greatly impacted Native American Indians in many different ways. The reason for this is the way in which the Indians used the environment and the surrounding lands of the area in order to survive. There was a close relationship between the Indians and nature, and as a result, any change in nature would mean a change in the Indians as well.

It is important to note that the Indians had a very different view of land than the white man. In those times, the land was sacred, there was no ownership, and there was a powerful spirit that had created it. During the time of the White settlers, on the other hand, they were not allowed to sell their land. However, the White settlers could fence off their land and sell it freely to anyone they wanted. In their eyes, the Europeans didn't think the Indians were using the land properly. Therefore, they believed that they were doing the earth a favor by doing so. Even though the land did not belong to the Indians, it was more valuable than the white man's money.

Native Americans were found all over the continent of America, living in a variety of environments, from the flatlands to the forests, from the mountains to the deserts, from the prairies to the coasts, and even in the arctic. This environment affected the different tribes in different ways, so that the different tribes evolved over time in response to all these changes.

Hope this helps :)

lakkis [162]

It was stated in the book that “The real force that ended the Soviet Union itself and most especially in the expectations and plans of the new reform leadership that came to power in 1985.” This event led to Mikhail being elected and trying to make new policies, but it didn’t work the way he wanted.

Nationalism was a threat to the Soviet Union, just like what the book said, “"That tenacious nationalism, more than any other factor, crushed their hopes for reform and destroyed the Soviet Union.” That is why I believe that communism went out with only a whimper and not a bang.

quester [9]

Answer:

The Scientific Revolution led to the emergence of modern science in Europe.

Explanation:

The Scientific Revolution led people to see science in a new light with experiments, technology, and analysis. The revolution began during the 16th when people were viewing nature differently than before, by simply accepting miracles of God. Astronomers like Galileo, Nicolaus Copernicus and Johannes Kepler played an influential role in analysing and explaining the universe. Mathematics, biology, astronomy, chemistry, physics were some of the fields where people began to take an interest. Before the Scientific Revolution, empiricism and teleology preferred extensively to understand changes.
