They were forcefully evicted in what is known as trail of tears

 The Indians did not leave their lands peacefully. The USA had to send a military reinforcement led by Winfield Scott, to forcefully evict the native Indians. The few bucks per acre that Ross, had negotiated for, was not approved by the Cherokee council.

The Progressive Era depict period more emphasis were placed on transparent and accountable government which would work to improve U.S. society.

During this period, there are various reforms about the followings: Right of workers, Civil service reform, Food safety laws, Women Political rights etc

The Anti-trust legislation were set of rule established to protect consumers from predatory practices and to ensure fair competition among producers in the industry.

So, therefore, the protection of consumers and dismantling of monopoly by firm are what spurred the Anti-Trust legislation in the Progressive Era.

There was CHANGE happening during the Industrial Revolution (i.e. farm work to machine work). So the economy was changing aka "transforming".
