Legends helps in understand the past with its culture and technology.

Explanation:

Legends generally are considered to be folklore from the old period. Carried on by generations, which relates to historical events and facts. Some legends do relate to the truth, while some reflect on the myth. The best example of the historical legendary is the Trojan War that happened in the northwest of Turkey with evidence by the archaeologists from the site. Another example of myth legend is the Nessie (Loch Ness Monster), which is believed to have existed in lake Loch Ness.
