Let
b-----> the length of the base of the rectangle
h-----> the length of the width of the rectangle

we know that
Area of the rectangle=b*h
in this problem
b=24.2 ft
h=16.25 ft
so
area=24.2*16.25-----> area=393.25 ft²

the answer is
the area of the frame is
393.25 ft²

A<br> of a number is a value that, when multiplied by itself,<br> gives the number.
Mariulka [41]

Answer:

In mathematics, we call multiplying a number by itself “squaring” the number. We call the result of squaring a whole number a square or a perfect square. A perfect square is any number that can be written as a whole number raised to the power of 2. For example, 9 is a perfect square.

Amaka buys 4 rulers and a pencil and these cost the same as 2 rulers and 4 pencils. If a pencil cost #8, how much does a ruler c
LekaFEV [45]

Answer:  ruler cost $12

Step-by-step explanation:

step 1

Let cost of ruler  be represented as r

and cost of pencil be represented as p

we were given that

4 rulers and a pencil and these cost the same as 2 rulers and 4 pencils which is expressed as

4r + p = 2r+ 4p

and cost of pencil= $8

therefore

sTEP 2--- Solving

4r+ 8 = 2r+ 4 x8

4r+ 8 = 2r+ 32

4r - 2r= 32-8

2r= 24

r= 24/2 = r= $12

Solve 2x2 + 26 = 0 to identify the roots.
zalisa [80]

Answer:

x=+/-i\sqrt{13}

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the roots, factor and set equal to 0 or use the quadratic formula. This quadratic equation does not factor and must be solved using the quadratic formula.

x=\frac{-b+/-\sqrt{b^2-4ac} }{2a}

where a = 2, b=0, and c=26

x=\frac{0+/-\sqrt{0^2-4(2)(26)} }{2(2)} \\x=\frac{+/-\sqrt{-208)} }{4} \\x=\frac{+/-i\sqrt{16*13)} }{4}\\x=\frac{+/4i\sqrt{13} }{4}\\x=+/-i\sqrt{13}

Divide £10 into ratio 2:3
nlexa [21]

A ratio of 2:3 is the same as 2/3 now we can divide out 2/3 to .6666666 and then multiply by 10 to get 6.666666 or you could just multiply 10 x 2/3 to get 20/3 and then divide to get 6.66666.
