Let
b-----> the length of the base of the rectangle
h-----> the length of the width of the rectangle

we know that
Area of the rectangle=b*h
in this problem
b=24.2 ft
h=16.25 ft
so
area=24.2*16.25-----> area=393.25 ft²

the answer is
the area of the frame is
393.25 ft²

Solve the inequality 7y-35<2(x-5)
AfilCa [17]

Answer:

x < 5

Explanation:

7*x-35-(2*(x-5))<0

(7x - 35) - 2 • (x - 5) < 0

Pull out like factors :

 5x - 25 = 5 • (x - 5)

5 • (x - 5) < 0

Divide both sides by 5

Add 5 to both sides

x < 5

Determine whether the relationship between the circumfrance of a circle and its diameter is a direct variation. If so, identify
kipiarov [429]

Answer:

The relationship between the circumference of a circle and its diameter represent a direct variation and the constant of proportionality is equal to the constant \pi

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

A relationship between two variables, x, and y, represent a proportional variation if it can be expressed in the form y=kx

where K is the constant of proportionality

In this problem we know that

The circumference of a circle is equal to

C=\pi D

therefore

the relationship between the circumference of a circle and its diameter is a direct variation and the constant of proportionality is equal to the constant \pi

David is keeping track of the internal temperature of a chicken he is cooking. The table below
Nataly_w [17]

Using the average rate of change, it is found that the average rate is of:

(1) 2.1 °F per minute

What is the average rate of change of a function?

It is given by the change in the output divided by the change in the input.

In this problem:

 • At 15 minutes, the temperature was of 90ºF.
 • At 45 minutes, the temperature was fo 153ºF.

Hence, in 30 minutes, the temperature increased 63ºF, hence the rate is given by:

r = 63/30 = 2.1 °F per minute.

mezya [45]

Answer:

Closet #1.

Step-by-step explanation:

Closet #1 is 4x5x8, right? so, 4x5=20, and 20x8=160 feet. Closet #2 is 6x3x8, and 6x3 is 18. That's already less than 20 even before we multiply by 8. So, the answer to your question is Closet #1.
