A rabbit population doubles every 4 weeks. There are currently five rabbits in a restricted area. If t represents the time, in w

eeks, and P(t) is the population of rabbits with respet to time, about how many rabbits will there be in 98 days?
(P.S. I need to know the equation for this one as well as the which numbers represent which variable. I'm studying for big exam coming up and I need help with this topic. Thanks.)

First, you have to find how many weeks are in 98 and to do so, you would divide it by 7. which turns out to be 14. If you divide 14 by 4 you'll find that their population will double 3 times, but not 3.5 because it is every 4 full weeks.
The equation will look like this, however, I'm not completely certain about the format. I'm using the formula for exponential growth
P(t)=r(2)^t
I did use t as weeks, but for every 4 weeks. R is the number of rabbits. If we were to input our information, we'd get:
P(3)=5(2)^3
If you work it out, you get 40 rabbits. In 14 weeks, the rabbits will double 3 times, so if we were to just figure it out without using the formula, we could double 5 which is 10, double it again, which is 20, and then double it a third time. which is 40.

4. Don designed a triangular-shaped garden. Use the diagram to answer each question.
mote1985 [20]
This is a 45-45-90 triangle or a right triangle created by the sides.

Because of this being a right triangle and 45 degrees being given already for one angle you would add 90 and 45 which will give you 135. You would subtract 135 from 180 because all the angles of a triangle add up to 180°. 180-135=45. X=45°

The cost of a large pizza is given by c = 0.50t + 18, where c is the total cost and t is the number of toppings. The cost of a m
Mashutka [201]
The toppings would still cost 0.50 each (since it is just toppings)

The large pizza costs $18 if you do not have any toppings
The medium costs half of the large

18/2 = 9

The medium costs $9 without any toppings, so your new equation will be:

c = 0.50t + 9

hope this helps

Solve for x. Triangles below are similar.

a) 13
b) 10
c) 4
d) 3
Reptile [31]

Answer:

the answer is 4 (option C)

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the triangles are similar, and in triangle UTV both sides are equal, we can consider QTR also has two equal sides.

therefore, the equation forms:

13x + 3 = 55

13x = 55 - 3

13x = 52

x = 52/13

x = 4
