The answer is C: formal and respectful.

In any speech the orator should strive to achieve a formal and respectful tone. Formal speech is characterized by being concise, direct, and well-structured to be as meaningful as possible in order to avoid ambiguities that could lead to miscomprehension. It should also be respectful in tone because it is addressed to school authorities, and all authority figures, by their own merit deserve a courteous and polite address.

If he's giving to a school you should definitely go with C. You dont want to be aggresive, or emotional, or REALLY emotional. You dont want to be pushing them, if YOU were writing this in real life, right?

Find all of the conjunctions in the sentence. Read the sentence. Gee, I would like to go to the circus, but I do not have enough
Veseljchak [2.6K]
"but" is the conjunction in this sentence because it is responsible for joining the two clauses "I would like to go to the circus" and "I do not have enough money for a ticket." A fun way to remember the conjunctions is the acronym FANBOYS.
