Reagan wanted to cut taxes, destroy labor unions, increase military expenditures and distribute more money to the business class not the working class. Also, he was anti-regulation of any kind; environmental, labor, urban and rural development, pushed for the privatization of historically public responsibilities ie. privatize schools, prisons, transportation systems, FAA, affordable housing, research and development, the military, energy, communication, etc.
