When Mr. Pirzada Came to Dine

At the end of the story there are many feelings first Lilia expresses that only when she read the letter and toasted the water glasses knowing he was not going back anymore is when she feels the Mr. Pirzada absence so she finally throw away her candies because she did not see the need of keeping them. He, as Lilia's parents predicted, did not have the need to come back and she would never see him again

Answer:

At the end of the story Lilia feels that she can finally throw away her remaining candies from Mr. Pirzada because she knows that Mr. Pirzada and his daugthers are safe. She recieved a postcard from Mr. Pirzada telling them that he found his daugthers and that they are alright. Every night, Lilia would eat a candy and pray for Mr. Pirzada, so when she found out that they are alright she did not see a need to keep them. Also, that one night that they toasted a drink in honor or Mr. Pirzada is when Lilia really felt his absence, and her parents can to the conclusion that they would most likely never see Mr. Pirzada ever again. This night is when Lilia threw away the candies also because of the fact that she did not see a reason to keep them since she was never going to see Mr. Pirzada ever again.

Which line best establishes the matter of fact tone at the beginning of the story
IgorLugansk [536]
The correct answer is A. It starts with very specific details, devoid of any emotional interfering on the narrator's part. The only subjective detail in this line is the estimation "very strange". Still, it doesn't disturb the factuality of the context, which is firmly rooted in precise time and place references.
