Jacob Blake is an African-American man who was shot in the back during an arrest by cop Rusten Sheskey. The occurrence happened in Kenosha on August 23, 2020, as cops were trying to arrest Blake. Blake was ineffectively tasered then shot after he made way for his SUV and tied to enter the vehicle. Jacob Blake is now paralyzed from the waist down, however, is expected to live. He was at first bound to the emergency clinic bed and officers were posted in his room, yet the binds and representatives were later removed, and a warrant against him was cleared. This whole situation caused an uprise and more protesting on top of what was happing before. Cops are killing more and more African-American citizens, and this is what is throwing people across the country into an outrage. Black Lives Matter protests are happening in masses in response to these occurrences.

What's happing needs to stop. It is upsetting the world and throwing our lives into chaos. I believe that this could've been prevented if cops were better trained and supervised. These cops are being punished, but not as much as deserved. A lot of these men that are being killed wrongly so. A lot of these citizens are doing nothing wrong but being discriminated upon, and it is sad. A lot of people are out there, risking their lives to save the lives of others. Our people are turning against each other, and our people are trying to stop it.

Police are trained to protect lives, and instead are taking them. They aren't being supervised well enough, and they aren't trained like they're supposed to be. They are disobedient and disrespectful to many people. They need to have harsher punishments for actions such as killing for no reason. I think it is self-explanatory as to why cops should stop unnecessarily killing innocent black people who are harmless and are just trying to live. I hope that our world comes to find peace soon before it self destructs.
