A The explosion leaked millions of barrels of oil into the Gulf Coast, but BP responded quickly and responsibly.

B The oil spill disaster was a result of BP's thoughtless actions and its refusal to listen to experts.

C The rig explosion is a tragedy, but events like this are a problem that the oil industry can learn how to control.

D BP has been drilling safely in the Gulf of Mexico for over fifty years, and one accident should not be held against the company.

The oil spill disaster was a result of BP's thoughtless actions and its refusal to listen to experts.

Option B.

Explanation:

In the lesson "Determine point of the view", the the point of the view of the author of the editorial is that the mishap that took place was the result of the actions of BP which were thoughtless.

Had the actions been a little full of thought and had it listened to the advice given to it by the experts in this matter, the mishap and the accident could have been avoided.

After reading The Tragedy of Julius Caesar, why could the reader consider Brutus the protagonist of the play?
Naya [18.7K]
I believe B is not the correct answer - C. Brutus' story is the focus of the play is.

A is definitely incorrect because both his story and his actions greatly impact the play - he is the one who decided to have Caesar murdered, after all. I don't think B is correct either - even though he did kill Caesar, he is not a classic villain. He is not evil, he did not kill him because he hated him, he killed him because it had to be done - he believed Caesar was on the path of becoming a tyrant. So he killed him to save Rome, which is not a villainous thing to do. D is also incorrect because Brutus is one of the main characters, if not the main character.
