In the second sentence, the would most likely use a <em>w</em> instead of a <em>v</em> for volleyball because a w in German is pronounced like a v. In that same sentence (the second one), the term “i comes before e except after c” does not apply. For German, it is always ei. I don’t know anything else about the second and first sentence, but I hoped that helped some.
In some parts of Switzerland, people put a sign on the outside of their house by their door. The sign announces the name of the child.
