The best way to persuade your sister to eat the baked cookies is to tell her that those are healthy cookies. The ingredients being used are the ones who are on a strict diet. But you would be tricking her if this is the case.

What error in parallelism is made in the following sentence? Not only vacuuming, but the family wants to dust and straighten up
AleksAgata [21]

The correct answer is D. it uses imperfect coordinating structure.

Parallelism refers to the use of the same word form throughout a particular sentence. So, in the example above, in order to achieve parallelism, we would need to change the word 'vacuuming' into 'to vacuum,' in order to keep the consistency with the other two verbs: 'to dust' and '(to) straighten up.'

skelet666 [1.2K]

Answer:

Dear Diary;

It has been another year with many twists and turns, all of which have worked out for the better. I have now fulfilled my goal of serving my city for 50 years, I can only hope to be as successful with the rest of my life as I have been thus far. For this anniversary of service, I plan on throwing a party, one that shall be heard about for many years. I shall write more of my plans once they have been figured out. Until then....
