The answer would be 32 miles (I think) if you set up a proportion you should get this answer.

32 miles. I knew that 3 hours I went 8 miles. Then if I went 6 miles that means I went 16 miles. Then if I went 9 hours then I would have gone 14 miles. If I went 12 hours I would have gone 32 miles. I added three (3) to every hour until I got to 12, and I add eight (8) to every mile.

4. Line t and AECA and AFDB are shown on the coordinate plane
julia-pushkina [17]

Answer:

A, B, C, E

Step-by-step explanation:

It can be seen from the figure that the points A, B, C and D, all are lying in the line t.

=> So that it can be concluded that AC and BC and BD have the slopes which are equal to each other and also equal to the slop of line t

So that all answer A, B, C are true.

In addition, as FD is parallel with x - axis, so that slope of the line t is equal to tan angel FDB

As FDB is the right triangle with BFD = 90°

=> tan angel FDB = FB/ FD (tan of an acute angel in the right triangle = opposite side/ adjacent side)

=> Slope of the line t is equal to FB/ FD

=> Answer E is true

It costs Luis 5 to park his car at a parking meter for two hours. What is the price to park for 1 hour? Draw a bar model or writ
maksim [4K]

Answer:

The cost of parking the car for 1 hour = $2.5

Step-by-step explanation:

Cost of parking car for two hours = $5

Now, let the cost of parking the car for one hour be $x

Since, the car is parked for two hours and the cost charged is $5

So, each hour the cost of parking is same ⇒ Cost of parking one hour is half the cost of parking the car for two hours.

Since, the cost of parking the car for one hour = $x

So, cost of parking the car for two hours = 2x

But this cost is given to be $5

⇒ 2x = 5

⇒ x = 2.5

Hence, The cost of parking the car for 1 hour = $2.5
