Cheating in school/university has been taking place in the academic field for a long time. A recent study found out that 64% of
kherson [118]

Answer:

Three causes of cheating are:

1. Lack of preparation

2. Family pressure

3. Inability to meet with school demands.

Explanation:

1. Lack of Preparation- this is one of the main causes of cheating in school. When a student fails to prepare adequately for a test or exam, through dedicated studying, there is a high tendency that he will feel unprepared to take the test. As a result, such student will try to make up for it by cheating.

2. Family pressure: This is usually common in families that leave little to no room for mistakes from their wards. This is sometimes communicated as threats to the student (e.g if they fail to pass or attain a certain score, so and so will happen) and translates to fear in the student. As a result, such student due to the pressure, will cheat to ensure he/she doesn't return with a less than outstanding score.

3. Inability to meet with school demands- this could be due to having learning disorders which makes learning difficult for the student or even trying to combine school with work. Either way, this interferes with learning and retaining information for the student that they resort to cheating in order not to fail.

These are three causes of cheating in schools.
