A Direct Object is a noun that receives, in an direct way, the action of a verb and the direct object pronoun replaces the direct object. Moreover, direct object pronouns in Spanish agree in number and gender with the nouns they replace. The Table below shows the different forms of direct objects in Spanish. There are two places where direct object pronouns can be placed namely:

• Before a conjugated verb.

• To the end of the verb if and only if the verb is not conjugated, such as infinitives or gerunds or if the verb is an affirmative informal command.

So these are the two form we must choose in this exercise to solve some sentences. Therefore:

1. Voy a hacer mi maleta:

Before a conjugated verb: La voy a hacer

To the end of the verb: Voy a hacerla

2. Necesitamos llevar los pasaportes:

Before a conjugated verb: Los necesitamos llevar

To the end of the verb: Necesitamos llevarlos

3. Marcos está pidiendo el folleto turístico:

Before a conjugated verb: Los está pidiendo

To the end of the verb: Está pidiéndolos
