It's C. This is the answer because you have to cancel the denominator by rationalizing it. This means that you cannot have any square roots at the bottom. It changes to a plus 14 because they have to cancel each other out. Hope this helps :)

The following equation has been solved incorrectly. Explain the students error
balandron [24]
On the right side of the equation, when the student combined like terms, 7x and -4x, they did not combine them correctly. Instead of combining them correctly, the student forgot to include the sign of the -4x which caused the sum of the two terms to be 11x instead of 3x. Hope this helps!

Use Green's Theorem to evaluate the line integral. Assume the curve is oriented counterclockwise. Contour integral Subscript Up
Setler79 [48]

By Green's theorem, we have

\displaystyle\int_C\left(7x+\cos\frac1y\right)\,\mathrm dy-(3y^2+\ln(3x))\,\mathrm dx

=\displaystyle\iint_{[1,4]\times[0,3]}\frac{\partial\left(7x+\cos\frac1y\right)}{\partial x}-\frac{\partial(-(3y^2+\ln(3x))}{\partial y}\,\mathrm dx\,\mathrm dy

=\displaystyle\int_0^3\int_1^47+6y\,\mathrm dx\,\mathrm dy=\boxed{144}

This week at HEB, pork chops cost $1.60 per pound. Steve bought 2 1/4 pounds of pork chops. If he paid with a $10 bill, how much
kompoz [17]

Answer:

He received $6.40 in change.

Explanation:

Since he bought 2.25 pounds, you multiply that by 1.6 to get a sum of 3.6. Since he paid with a ten dollar bill, and he only has to pay 3.60, they will give him back 6.40 in change.

Hope this helped :)
