The blood type is B+. The blood type depends on some protein substances called antigens present on the cell membrane of the red blood cells that help the cells to identify and communicate with each other. There are four types of blood types;
1- Blood type A which have antigens A on the red blood cells.
2- Blood type B which have antigens B on the red blood cells.
3- Blood type AB which has antigens A and B on the red blood cells.
4- Blood type O which have no antigens on the red blood cells.
There is a second type of antigens present on the red blood cells which is called rhesus. Rhesus may be present, so the individual will be positive (+) rhesus), or it may be absent, so the individual will be negative (-) rhesus.
To determine the blood type, we add anti-a and anti-b serums to two samples of the tested blood.
If the anti-a coagulates only, the person is blood type A.
If the anti-b coagulates only, the person is blood type B.
If the two samples coagulate, the person is blood type AB.
If the two samples don't coagulate, the person is blood type O.
To another blood sample from the same blood, we add anti rhesus, if it coagulates, the person is )+), if not the person is (-).

Tolerance towards cold temperature and adaptabilities are the variation that help the trout fish to survive.

Which factor help the trout to survive?

If temperatures fall over time because of climate change, the tolerance towards cold temperature is the one variation that would likely help the trout to survive because only those organisms survive in cold temperature that have good tolerance and various adaptation towards cold temperature.

So we can conclude that tolerance towards cold temperature and adaptabilities are the variation that help the trout fish to survive.

why is tetracycline selectively toxic against bacteria Eukaryotic cells will enzymatically destroy the drug. Eukaryotic cells wi
IrinaVladis [17]

Answer:

The correct answer is The drug binds to the 30S small ribosomal subunit eukaryotes have 40S small sub unit.

Explanation:

Tetracycline belongs to broad spectrum antibiotic.Tetracycline is named so because it contain a derivative of four hydrocarbon rings.

Tetracycline act by inhibiting the protein synthesis process in prokatotes by binding to the small ribosomal subunit also called 30S subsunit and blocks the binding of amino acyl tRNA to the A site or attachment site of ribosome.

As eukaryotes contain 40S ribosomal subunit,it becomes difficult for tetracycline to bind with 40S ribosomal subunit of eukaryotes.

STatiana [176]

The seasons are caused as the Earth, tilted on its axis, travels in a loop around the Sun each year. Summer happens in the hemisphere tilted towards the Sun, and winter happens in the hemisphere tilted away from the Sun. As the Earth travels around the Sun, the hemisphere that is tilted towards or away from the Sun changes.
