Polygenic traits are quantitative because their phenotype expression depends on several different alleles found on different chromosomes.

Explanation:

In this case each dominant capital gene produces one unit of skin color, therefore, a wide range of intermediate skin colors are produced depending on the number of dominant capital genes.

If there are more alleles present for darker skin tone, then the offspring will have darker skin pigment than the parents may have.

There can be varying expressions of pigment color from dark to light based on the alleles received, even in the same family.

The sum of the allele combinations determines the expression of the trait from one degree to the other.

A bell curve shows the quantitative variation.

A group of fibers inside the cell that helps support the cell is the _____. microtubule flagella cytoskeleton filament
Ber [7]

Answer:

Microtubule fiber

Explanation:

Microtubules play a huge role in movement within a cell. They form the spindle fibers that manipulate and separate chromosomes during the mitosis phase of the cell cycle. Examples of microtubule fibers that assist in cell division include polar fibers and kinetochore fibers.

The primary function of a flagellum is that of locomotion, but it also often functions as a sensory organelle, being sensitive to chemicals and temperatures outside the cell. The similar structure in the archaea functions in the same way but is structurally different and has been termed the archaellum.

The Cytoskeleton is a dynamic three-dimensional structure that fills the cytoplasm. This structure acts as both muscle and skeleton, for movement and stability. The long fibers of the cytoskeleton are polymers of subunits.

The opposite term is filament fibre, which is fibre that comes in continuous to near continuous lengths for use. Silk, taken from the cocoon of a silkworm, is a filament. Synthetic fibres can also be manufactured as filament. If the filament is then cut into discrete lengths, it becomes staple fibre.

Hope this helps : D

The right answer is "Both insects and amphibians exhibit metamorphosis"

Have six legs :

 • Amphibians are not six legged organisms rather they are four legged

Are both Vertebrates :

 • Insects belong to the Phyla Arothropoda. Arthropods are invertebrates

 • Amphibians belong to the Phyla Chordata. Chordates includes vertebrates

Go through Metamorphosis :

 • Both insects and amphibians are found to exhibit metamorphosis. For instance, Butterfly incase of insects and Frogs incase of Amphibians

Are both Invertebrates :

 • Insects are Invertebrates while Amphibians are Vertebrates

Look like their parents at birth :

 • Insects don't resemble their parents at birth. As they grow into adults, they develop body patterns, structures similar to their parents

 • Amphibians develop indirectly, from larvae. Indirect Development refers to the development where the embryo develops into a sexually - sterile organism after which it undergoes metamorphosis to become an adult.
