The theorems used are:

First blank: side-angle-side theorem

Second blank: CPCTC

Third blank: 200 feet

Fourth blank: 1,700 feet.

What is the Side-angle-side Congruence Theorem (SAS):

Wen two triangles have a pair of included congruent angles and two pairs of corresponding congruent sides, then both triangles are congruent to each other by the side-angle-side theorem.

Furthermore, if two triangles are known to be congruent to each other, the CPCTC states that "corresponding parts of corresponding triangles are congruent". This means all angles and all sides that corresponds to each other are congruent.

Therefore:

Using the side-angle-side theorem it can be shown that the two triangles are congruent to each other.

Then using CPCTC , the length of the road from the intersection to the first turn would be 200 feet.

The total length of the tour would be = 2(200 + 300 + 350)

= 1,700 feet.

What is the nearest ten thousand, the population of Vermont was estimated to be about 620,000 in 2008 . What might have been the
Degger [83]

Answer:

618,000 might be the exact population of Vermont in 2008

Step-by-step explanation:

* Lets explain the rule of rounding to the nearest ten thousands

- To round numbers to the nearest ten thousand, make the

 numbers whose last four digits are 0001 through 4999 into the

 next lower number that ends in 0000

- Ex: 83,525 rounded to the nearest ten thousand would be

80,000.

- Numbers that have the last four digits of 5000 or more should

be rounded up to the next even ten thousand

- Ex: The number 58,988 rounded to the nearest ten thousand

 would be 60,000

* Lets do that in the problem

∵ The number is 620,000 after rounded to the nearest

 ten thousands

∴ We can chose any number whose last four digits are 00001

 through 4999 as 624,000 OR 5000 or more as 618,000

∴ 618,000 might be the exact population of Vermont in 2008

Interest+original=amount to pay off

intrest=prinicpal times rate times time
interest=2000 times 3 times 0.08
interest=480

so total is 2000+480 or 2480 to pay off
