The primary purpose of the genealogies of 1 Chronicles 1–9 is to construct a monument to the pre-exilic dead of Judah and Israel, reflecting the important cultural value Judeans placed on the preservation of one's name after death.

Genealogies were given an important place in the history of Israel and in the revelation of God's redemptive plan. Genealogies identified membership in the Hebrew congregation. They verified the official positions of the priests and Levites. Priests whose names were not found listed were excluded from the priesthood. Genealogies preserved the records of the line by which the promised Redeemer came.

Why couldn't Angela get a goose or a ham from the butcher for the family's Christmas dinner? A. The butcher wouldn't sell a goos
tester [92]

Answer:

C. The butcher lied and said he was out of ham and geese.

Explanation:

This is the logical option because of the experience of Angela. When she went to buy the meat from the butcher, he lied that there was no ham and geese due to the poverty state of Angela's family. Angela has no option than to purchase the pig's head which they use to cook and eat during the Christmas.

a tractor must travel a distance of 8 miles in order to plow the fields that will be planted with soy beans. if its rate in mile
vfiekz [6]
Assuming we don't know the speed capabilities of the tractor, the time it would take simply be the rate in miles per hour. It has a direct correlation between speed and time spent, so the miles the tractor needs to plow is unneeded.
