The correct answer is C. persuasive essay.

Different types of essay forms are used for different reasons. The persuasive essay is used to convince another individual, the reader, to accept your point of view and behave or think in the manner which you presented. This is why this type of essay has to be backed by evidence and logic, or emotional appeal and common sense.

Pip's uncontrolled spending habits represent
Dvinal [7]
I was not able to find a similar question on the internet, but the following excerpt would lead me to believe that it's Letter D.

An excerpt "The Great Expectations enter into the story when Mr. Jaggers takes Pip to London to make a gentleman of him." Pip is living the life of a London playboy. He adapts to his new lifestyle, which includes spending money at a great rate to the point that he is a negative influence on Herbert, his best friend. I'd say it's not the letter A since Pip and Herbert have a positive relationship towards each other. It's not letter B also since it didn't mention him helping his family when he was in London. So it can either be C or D.

Which BEST evaluates the point of view of author, Lance Carson?
liberstina [14]

When looking for point of view, you are looking for the narrator's position in relation to the story being told. As you look through answers, which one can you relate back to the story? If the story was told from the point of one of the main characters, one could say that the author's point of view was clearly seen through the eyes of that main character. Without the story and the chooses here, it is hard to get much more specific than that.
