Identify and explain changes American society experienced with the mobilization of its economic and military resources during World War II?

A short-term effect is that the mobilization of its economics helped to bring the United States out of the Great depression.  The economy also boosted because of the movement of women into jobs that were dominated by men.

A long-term effect was the creation of the GI Bill towards the end of the war.  And, it helped to change the status of women in American Society, which also helped to the push of Civil Rights.
