Asbestos is a natural mineral fiber extracted from rocks, which was used to make tiles and water tanks. It has become widely used because of its economic advantages and properties, since it is heat resistant and is a good thermal, acoustic and electrical insulation. However, it has been discovered that the asbestos explosion is very harmful to human health, which can cause cancer and asbestosis disease in the lungs. That is why asbestos has been banned from the US and almost all of Europe.
