<span>0.02, so it will be under 100 because you have 2 numbers after the ' . ' (0 and 2)</span>

<span /><span>0.02= \frac{2}{100} ^{/2}= \frac{1}{50}</span><span><u /></span>

1/50
Because first you do the 0.02 = 2/100
It's over 100 because of the amount of digits.
Then simplify 2/100. Half of 2 is 1 and half of 100 is 50.
Sorry if that didn't really help, but i wanted to try.

Answer:

1\frac{7}{20}

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Convert the mixed number to an improper fraction to match the rest of the problem (this just makes it easier for now, the answer will still be a mixed number)

-1\frac{4}{5} becomes \frac{9}{5}

2. Re-write the new equation. When there is a "+" in front of a set of parentheses the expression doesn't change aside from removing the plus signs.

The new equation becomes

\frac{9}{5} - \frac{1}{4} -\frac{1}{5}

3. Calculate. Just work out the new expression.

The answer is \frac{27}{20}

4. Convert to a simplified mixed decimal.

27 goes into 20 once with seven left over, making the answer 1\frac{7}{20}

which has greater cenetic energy a car traveling 30.0 km/hr or one twice as heavy traveling at 15 km/hr?
iVinArrow [24]

Answer:

30 km/h car

Step-by-step explanation:

From analysis the   car traveling at 30 km/h has greater kinetic energy

we can deduce it from the expression of kinetic energy which is

KE=\frac{1}{2} mv^2

Assuming the mass m= 1 kg

For the 30 km/h

KE=\frac{1}{2}*1*30^2 \\\\KE=\frac{1}{2}*1*900\\\\\KE=450 J

For the 15 km/h

KE=\frac{1}{2}*2*15^2 \\\\ KE=\frac{1}{2}*2*225 \\\\\ KE=\frac{1}{2}*450 J\\\\\ KE=225 J

Though the kinetic energy is a function of mass and velocity, but from our analysis the faster moving object has more KE

the length of a pool 2 km long is represented on a map with a length of 20cm. what is the map scale used?
goldenfox [79]

Answer:

The scale used is 1: 10,000 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that the length of a pool 2 km long is represented on a map with a length of 20cm, to determine what is the map scale used the following calculation must be performed:

2 km = 2,000 m

1m = 100cm

2,000 x 100 = 200,000

20: 200,000

10: 100,000

1: 10,000

Thus, the scale used is 1: 10,000 cm.
