Replication fork

The process by which DNA make copies of itself during cell division is known as DNA replication. During DNA replication, the double helix structure of DNA molecule is unzip by helicase enzyme which break the hydrogen bond holding the complementary DNA base together. However, the separation of the DNA strands will create Y shape called replication fork. Replication fork will acts as template for creating new strands of DNA.

Why might it be beneficial for the brain to be connected to the contralateral side of the body?
kondor19780726 [428]
I think it is beneficial for the brain to be connected to the contralateral side of the body because of the position and connection to the brain that our eyes have. Because light from the right visual fields strikes the left side of the eye and light from the left side strikes the right side of the eye, the connections allow visual information from both sides of the body to reach the brain.
