The faults in which the hanging wall moves down relative to the footwall is called normal fault.
Explanation:
There are several types of faults based on their characteristics. One of them is the normal fault, or normal dip-slip fault. The main characteristic of this fault is that its hanging wall moves down relative to the footwall, while the footwall tends to move up relative to the hanging wall. The force that creates this type of faults is the vertical compression as the crust of Earth is lengthening.
- These faults can be found all over the world, and they are actually the most common type of faults.
- The normal dip-slip faults are bounding big portion of the mountains, as well as rift valleys.
- As these faults progress with their formation, with the footwall going up, and the hanging wall going down, the footwall becomes a hill or a mountain, while the hanging wall becomes a valley.
- The normal dip-slip faults can be found at all types of tectonic plate boundaries.

1) Divergent boundaries because they cause new crust to form.
2) MORS are underwater mountain ranges that rise to connect with the continents and form new crust. The lava gets pushed under the oceanic crust.
The altitude and climate change
Answer:
7.798
Explanation:
It is understood that as at 31 December 2018, there had been 150 tornado event days with 1169 total tornado reports for 2018.
Then the average will be a calculated as:
1169/150= 7.79. This is regarded as the average amount of tornado experienced in the days it took place.
We can then infer and say that on average, each tornado event day had about 7.79 tornadoes reported.
Hi!
There are many causes related to the depletion of rain forests. One would be fires. Another would be trees being cut down almost every year. The main destruction cause would be us humans.
A possible solution for stopping the depletion of rain forests would most probably be to make sure that the animals, plants, and the rain forest itself is healthy. If it is not, there may be serious trouble. Another solution would probably be for us humans to leave the rain forests alone. Alot of fires are caused by us, and chopping down the trees of the rain forest kills the animals, plants, and of course the trees in that rain forest, causing the rain forest to eventually deplete.
Hope this helps, have a wonderful day/night! :)
