The Mound Builders are the Native American Group who built large cities and traded far and wide. They built mounds in areas such as Great Lakes to the Gulf of Mexico and also at the Mississippi River to the Appalachian Mountains. The origin of the term "Mound Builders" started when they could not identify the origin of monuments built yet they call it mysterious and a lot of European Americans did not entertain the thought that Native Americans can actually create those mounds.

The answer is B. The founding fathers were all strongly influenced by enlightened thinkers and philosophers of the time when drafting the Declaration of Independence. One particular philosopher was John Locke, who wrote in his work that the natural rights of man include "life, liberty, and property" and these natural rights should not be given up the citizen in the face of the government.
