A. to remember that she was once loved for who she really is

The lines that give you the clue to the answer are "dream of the soft look your eyes hand once". From this we can infer that the soft look is one of love and since it says "had once" means that his eyes don't have that look any more. The word dream indicates that this should be a memory. Because of this options C and D are automatically wrong. The only action the speaker is asking is for him to remember, not visit or write. There is no real mention of youth and beauty so we can also eliminate Option B.

Which excerpt from The Great Fire best supports the theme that there was a sense of hope that the city would rebuild after the f
earnstyle [38]

“Alfred Sewell ended his discussion of Chicago with a stirring prediction: ‘The city will nevertheless rise again, nay, is already rising, like the Phoenix, from her ashes. And she will, we believe, be a better city as well as a greater one, than she was before her disaster.’”

This is the best option because it gives the feeling of hope. The image of the Phoenix rising out of the ashes is meant to show that Chicago will once rise again. It will come back and be even better. The quote says that the city will "rise again" and "is already rising". Two of the other options only speak of the devastation of the fire. The option about the workers tells about the demand for laborers but it doesn't necessarily evoke a sense of hope in rebuilding.

Galina-37 [17]

Answer:

living life with a purpose

Explanation:

Emily Dickinson  in the poem "If I can stop one heart from breaking" presents her thought of having a purpose in the life. She discloses her thoughts that she would love to assist people in her life so that she may keep herself busy and occupied. Her help to other people may help her in turn by not keeping herself in 'vain'. She wants to bring some positive impact in the world through her actions and thought and this would help her in nit being 'in vain'.
