n a last-ditch effort to quash an armed rebellion against him, King John of England signed a document called the Magna Carta. This document basically was him promising to stop being a meanie all the time—you know, doing things like claiming all the good forests for himself and coming up with new taxes every ten minutes.

What is significant about the following excerpt from F. Scott Fitzgerald's "Winter Dreams"?
djverab [1.8K]

In my humble opinion I would state that the significance of the Excerpt from F. Scott Fitzgerald’s “Winter Dreams” is how she conveys her own feelings. In this excerpt Judy is described as a beautiful girls who was born in a rich family. She was spoiled and developed a feeling of self-entitlement. She truly believes that whatever she desires, she can get it.

Answer: Judy’s actions on the golf course are similar to the way she treats men.

I hope it helps, Regards.
