The Lydenburg Heads were probably used in "initiation rites".

The Lydenburg Heads are a progression of clay masks uncovered from the close-by Head Site and cell based dated back to around AD 500. There are seven of them. Six human appearances and one creature confront. They were most likely utilized in initiation rites, since they are enhanced with ceremonial scars, cuts for eyes and mouth, finished with stylised hair designs and adorned with little creatures. The heads are proof of Iron Age individuals who lived in the zone somewhere in the range of 2000 years back.

babymother [125]
The statement is true, all of these are important natural resources in the Caribbean islands. Most important are definitely the waters, climate and beaches, these three make the tourism possible and bring in the biggest income in the Caribbean countries. Even though they do have some exports like the coconuts, zinc and manganese, these islands are heavily dependent on imported goods and resources.

Which in-text citation is formatted correctly in MLA style?
Dennis_Churaev [7]
The correct answer choice would be the third one: "Homer writes that Odysseus and his men 'were left to groan and wait for morning' (218)." In MLA, the period needs to be outside of the parentheses, not inside the parentheses or the quotation. So that leaves us between choices 2 and 3. Well, it isn't the second one because the way they cited it (Homer: 218) isn't correct, they should have written it as (Homer, 218). Therefore, the third one seems to be the most correct. Hope this helped some :)
