The correct answer is Option D) Stole our natural resources

In the United States declaration of Independence the King of England was held responsible for a number of grievances.

He was accused of burning down towns and villages of the local colonists, destroying their lives and even blundering the seas (talking about the blockade by the British Navy).

However, the King was not specifically called out for 'stealing natural resources'

It should be understood that the initial problems only began due to taxes imposed on the local populations. Things turned out of hand when a small protest turned into a civil war with the French helping the colonists against the British.

World War I (1914–18): Causes Although the United States did not enter World War I until 1917, the outbreak of that war in 1914, and its underlying causes and consequences, deeply and immediately affected America's position both at home and abroad. In the debate on neutrality and later on peace aims, much was made of European secret diplomacy, which was rejected on the U.S. side of the Atlantic, of militarism and the escalating arms race before 1914, and of the impact of colonialism. Undoubtedly, all these factors contributed to the origins of the European catastrophe, but they do not explain why the war broke out when it did. This question can only be answered more precisely by looking at the political and military decision‐making processes in the last months, weeks, and days of peace in 1914.

Which statement best describes federalism? It is the authority to make and enforce decisions based on a written constitution. It
tatiyna

The correct answer for above statement is:

It is the division of powers between a national government and the state governments" is the best option in terms of the description of federalism, on which the US government is based.

Explanation:

Federalism is the combined or composite method of government, connecting a global management (the central or 'federal' government) with provincial governments (provincial, state, cantonal, regional or other sub-unit governments) in a single political system. Its distinguishing feature, represented in the founding example of modern federalism by the United States of America under the Constitution of 1787, is a relationship of parity between the two levels of management established. It can thus be defined as a form of government in which there is a separation of powers between two levels of administration of equal rank

Serjik [45]

Explanation:

The Northwest Ordinance set several important precedents. It established that unlike many nations, which left their new territories in a position inferior to the old, the United States would admit new states to the Union on an equal basis with the original states.
