Answer :- The answer is reflected . Triangle XYZ was dilated, then <u>reflected</u> to create triangle QAG.

Explanation :-

  • A dilation is a rigid transformation which creates a similar image as the real shape but with different size.
  • A reflection is a rigid transformation which creates a mirror image of the original shape without changing its size.

In the given picture we can see the size of ΔXYZ is reduced to ΔQAG byecause of dilation . Also  ΔQAG looks like the mirror image of ΔXYZ  (as it flipped horizontally).

Therefore if ΔXYZ is dilated then it must be reflected horizontally to create ΔQAG.

viva [34]
So first we remove 7.00$ from 19.00$
Now we have 12.00$
Then it said 1.50$ per hour
So we do 12 divide 1.50. 12:1.50= 8

He can skate for 8 hours

Answer:

\frac{3\sqrt{2} }{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

\frac{\sqrt{2} }{2} + \frac{2}{\sqrt{2} } ← rationalise the denominator by multiplying by \frac{\sqrt{2} }{\sqrt{2} }

= \frac{\sqrt{2} }{2} + ( \frac{2}{\sqrt{2} } × \frac{\sqrt{2} }{\sqrt{2} } )

= \frac{\sqrt{2} }{2} + \frac{2\sqrt{2} }{2}

= \frac{3\sqrt{2} }{2}
