4 0

Answer:

9pq, 8qp, and 7x, 16y

Step-by-step explanation:

these pairs have the same variable and exponent. To be a like term, you have to have same variables and same exponents, so therefore 11a and 13a^2 can't be like terms.

3 &lt; 2x + 1 &lt; 9<br> How do I solve this?
Vitek1552 [10]

Answer:

(1,4) or 1 < x < 4

Step-by-step explanation:

3 = less than 2x + 1 and 2x + 1 is less than 9

we can split the two parts of the equation

3< 2x + 1 and 2x + 1 < 9

for 3< 2x + 1 x has to be greater than 1

for 2x+ 1 < 9 x has to be less than 4 so the answer is (1,4) or 1 < x < 4

Giving triangle and m what is m &gt;b
Gelneren [198K]

Since you know the triangles are congruent/equal, you know that:

m∠A and m∠X are congruent and have the same angle, and so does:

m∠B and m∠Y

m∠C and m∠Z

A triangle is 180°. (the 3 angles have to add up to 180) To find m∠B, you can do this:

m∠A + m∠B + m∠C = 180°

21° + m∠B + 35° = 180°    Subtract 21 and 35 on both sides

m∠B = 124° your answer is C

An advertising company charges $40 per half-page advertisement and $75 per full-page advertisement. Michael has a budget of $800
TEA [102]

Answer:

full page = 8

half page = 5

Step-by-step explanation:

two equations can be derived from the question

40x + 75y = 800 equation 1

x + y = 13 equation 2

x = number of half page advertisement

y = number of full page advertisement

multiply equation 2 by 40

40x + 40y = 520 equation 3

subtract equation 3 from 2

280 = 35y

y = 8

substitute for y in equation 2

x + 8 = 13

x = 13 - 8

x = 5

Here are the first four of an arithmetic sequence.
Grace [21]
A)
6, 10, 14, 18

a = 6 = first term.

common difference, d = 10 - 6 = 4

nth term of an arithmetic sequence = a + (n - 1)*d = 6 + (n - 1)4

= 6 + 4*n - 4*1

= 4n - 4 + 6

= 4n + 2

nth term of the arithmetic sequence is  4n + 2

b)
different arithmetic = 3n + 5

If 108 is on the sequence, it would have a whole number solution for n.

3n + 5 = 108

3n = 108 - 5

3n = 103

n = 103/3 = 34  1/3

n is not a whole number, so 108 is not a term of the sequence.

Hope this helps.
