Can you provide the passages? I can help you compare! It's quite easy to compare, make sure you summarize both and say how they are the same. Make sure to also talk about how they are different.

Answer:

In The Circuit the narrator is very detailed in The Passing the narrator's point of view is somehow confusing for the reader.

Explanation:

In The Passing we understand the story from what Irene is seeing, doing, and thinking. It's a third person omniscient and because of this we are restricted to understand only what Irene's character understands.

This is different in The Circuit, where the narrator focuses on details we see the perspective Francisco has and we know how he feels and thinks. The narrator does this very well because the reader feels exactly how the narratow wants us to feel.

The correct option is SETTING.
In literature, setting refers to the time and place of a particular event in the story. Setting helps to create the background and the mood for the story which the author want to write about. The setting of a story usually have great impacts on the story characters and the event and it also helps the readers to vividly imagine the story.

hodyreva [135]

The speaker is at first, afraid. They are struggling with their inner self about whether or not to jump. The speaker states that they struggle to the end. As the/she gets a look into the rippling water below, their fear grabs them even more. But soon, he/she states that a voice told them that if they were going to jump, to just jump. After another second of contemplation, the speaker finally overcomes their fear. Their transformation went from a person full of fear at the thought of jumping, to a person empty of that fear who cleared their mind and just did it.

Hope this helps!
