Answer:

Several people were tried and convicted by the U.N backed International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY).

Explanation:

Widespread ethnic cleansing accompanied the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina (1992–95), as large numbers of Bosnian Muslims (Bosniaks) and Bosnian Croats were forced to flee their homes or were expelled by Bosnian Serbs and Serb paramilitary.

After years of fighting the inability of the Western world to come to an agreement on how to handle Serbian armed forces, forced NATO to intervene.

This intervention became more imperative as the international community grew restless. It was on February of 1994 that NATO issued an ultimatum to all forces fighting within 20 kilometers of Sarajevo to hand over their heavy weapons and to refrain from attacks within the area.

United  Nations  and  the  High  Representative  were  able  to  impose  a  system  of randomised vehicle registration plates. For once, freed from the pressure of their leaderships, Bosnians of all communities were able to travel where they wanted in anonymity, and found that they liked it. Movement and economic exchange surged.

Rainbow [258]
The Xiognu brutally conquered other nomadic tribes, often killing their leaders and forcibly incorporating them into the Xiongnu state. This created resentment among the various conquered peoples, which, coupled with some uncertainty regarding an heir to the throne, led to a civil war in the Xiongnu state from 60-53 BC.
