Answer:

The length of each wall is 22 ft.

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider the provided information.

It is given that the length of each section of plants is equal.

Let the length of each plant is x.

Thus, the length of each side is 7-ft storage area and 5 sections for different kinds of plants. i.e.

Length of one side = 7 + 5x

Similarly, on the opposite wall is a 4-ft storage area and 6 sections for plants. i.e.

Length of opposite side = 4 + 6x

For better understanding refer the figure 1:

As we know in a rectangle opposite sides are equal, thus.

7 + 5x = 4 + 6x

Solve for x.

7 - 4 = 6x-5x

x = 3

Thus, the length of one side is:

7 + 5(3) = 7 + 15 = 22 ft

Hence, the length of each wall is 22 ft.

Note: it is not possible to find the length of other two wall as there is no information related with them.

Surface area= combined area of the figure;

Surface area of right cylinder: 2πrh+2πr² (the first part represents area of rectangle and the second represents the area of the circles)

SA=2π(4/2)(12)+ 2π(4/2)² <-- radius is half the diameter

Use a calculator to evaluate cot π/5.

Pi divided by five is roughly .63. I say "roughly" because pi is infinitely long so it's impossible to get an exact answer, but a common pi length would be 3.14159.

What is the current value of a zero-coupon bond that pays a face value of $1,000 at maturity in 6 years if the appropriate disco
Zolol [24]

Answer:4

Step-by-step explanation:

A zero-coupon bond doesn’t make any payments. Instead, investors purchase the zero-coupon bond for less than its face value, and when the bond matures, they receive the face value.

To figure the price you should pay for a zero-coupon bond, you'll follow these steps:

Divide your required rate of return by 100 to convert it to a decimal.

Add 1 to the required rate of return as a decimal.

Raise the result to the power of the number of years until the bond matures.

Divide the face value of the bond to calculate the price to pay for the zero-coupon bond to achieve your desired rate of return.

First, divide 4 percent by 100 to get 0.04. Second, add 1 to 0.04 to get 1.04. Third, raise 1.04 to the sixth power to get 1.2653. Lastly, divide the face value of $1,000 by 1.2653 to find that the price to pay for the zero-coupon bond is $790,32.
