Scientists have developed genetically engineered plants that are pest-resistant. By adding genes to the plant’s DNA, they become

toxic to insects (but not to plants or animals). This means that these plants may not need to be sprayed with pesticides to ward off the insects.
Would you be willing to eat these genetically altered crops? Explain your answer.

What are some possible impacts (positive or negative) of this genetically engineered plant on the environment, society, and individuals?

I would be willing to eat those genetically altered crops. There is scientific proof that eating the crops has no adverse effects on animals which means that it is also safe for humans to eat them.
The positive impact of this genetically engineered plant is that less pesticides are being used which are known to have negative effects on the environment. This also cuts down costs in purchasing and applying the pesticides.

They evolve alongside each other, the predator evolves to become faster, better camouflage itself, immunity to the poison of a prey, and likewise the prey evolves to become faster to avoid the predator, camouflage to hide, poison to keep the predator at bay and this cyclic relationship continues with only the strongest and fastest of each species reproducing, just increasing the strengths of both animals.

The predator is almost always larger, and a carnivore.
With the prey generally being smaller and herbivore.

DNA has two strands. If the sequence of nucleotides of one strand was known, is it possible to use that information to determine
yanalaym [24]

It is possible to use the information of the nucleotide sequence of one strand to determine the sequence of the other strand.

  • Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is a biological molecule with two strands. Each strand is made up of a sequence of nucleotides. The DNA nucleotides are Adenine (A), Cytosine (C), Guanine (G) and Thymine (T).

  • In a DNA molecule, Adenine forms an hydrogen bond with Thymine i.e. A-T, while Guanine forms an hydrogen bond with Cytosine i.e. G-C.

  • Therefore, it is possible to use the information of the nucleotide sequence of one strand to determine the sequence of the other strand. For example, a strand with ATGCGTACGAT will form the following sequence: TACGCATGCTA
