Hello!

So the equation that you want to use is
y = mx + b

Now you can plug in both the slope and your points to find b.

3 = -1/2(2) + b
3 = -1 + b
4 = b

So now that we've found b, we can use the original equation and only plug in the slope and b

y = -1/2x + 4

So to find the y-intercept, we need to plug in 0 for x

y = -1/2(0) + 4
y = 0 + 4
y = 4

Your y-intercept is (0,4)

Hope this helps!

go 4 left of origin and then go 9 up

(-8,9)

go 8 left of origin and then go 8 up

(-9,7)

go 9 left of origin and then go 7 up

(-9,4)

go 9 left of origin and then go join (-4,9) with (-8,9) and (-9,4) 4 up

join (-9,7) with (-8,9) and (-9,4)

A shipment to a warehouse consists of 2,750 MP3 players. The manager chooses a random sample of 50
Juli2301 [7.4K]

MP3 players in the shipment which are likely to be defective is 330.

Step-by-step explanation:

• Probability is event of an occurrence which is uncertain.

• Probability always lies between 0 to 1.

• The sample of 50 MP3 has 6 defective, to solve it has to be converted.

• Convert percentage in 100 multiply numerator and denominator by 2.

• Result is 6/50 converted to 12/100, bring it to 0.12%.

• 12% is defected in 100% of sample.

• It is found here that 2750 is the population and 12% of 2750.

• 2750 * 0.12 = 330, defective pieces in 2750.

• There are three types of Classical,Empirical or Experimental.

• Classical are ‘n’ number of events find the probability occurrence.

• Empirical or experimental is purely based on events.

I need help in solving this problem (ASAP)
zhannawk [14.2K]

Answer:

The answer is y=24

Step-by-step explanation:

The triangle is a 30-60-90 triangle, which means that the it follows the respective ratio of x:x\sqrt{3}:2x. Since we know that the 30 degree value is 8\sqrt{3}, we can establish that the 60 degree value is 8\sqrt{3}*\sqrt{3} = 24.
